The Chill-Its 6717FR Evaporative Cooling FR Hard Hat Liner Pad with Neck Shade straps into hard hats to deliver four hours of cooling relief while also meeting ASTM F1506 for arc flash protection and flame resistance. The low-profile and lightweight liner pad with shade features cooling acrylic polymers for instant cooling without bulk or slime, making it comfortable to wear under hard hats. The wide panel shade extends down for full back-of-neck FR coverage as well as protection from sun damage. This hard hat liner pad fits most hard hats and safety helmets, easily attaching to the suspension with two hook & loop straps. Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as polymer crystals are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention.

Protects neck from harmful UV rays. Modacrylic cotton blend FR fabric. Fabric meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements (ATPV rating of 7.1 cal/cm2); classified HRC1 per NFPA 70E.. Meets ASTM F2302 for flame resistance. Soak in water 2-5 minutes to activate. Remains hydrated for up to 4 hours. Conveniently attaches to hard hat suspension headband. Reusable, just resoak.
